What is the ILSTA eLearning Centre?
The ILSTA eLearning Centre is an online site which offers
a variety of courses which complement ILSTA's in-person
workshops and training events focusing on good governance
in the public and private sectors.
Who can join the ILSTA eLearning Centre?
The courses offered by the ILSTA eLearning Centre are
designed for people working in the legal sector (such as
police, prosecutors, judges, lawyers, customs officers and
state inspection officers) and certain areas of the private
sector. If you are not sure whether you are eligible to
enrol in one of ILSTA's courses, please send an email to
eLearning@ilsta.org telling us who you are and why you are
interested in joining one of our courses.
How do I join the ILSTA eLearning Centre?
Applications can be made online directly to ILSTA.

What kind of device do I need to access the ILSTA eLearning Centre?
You can access the ILSTA eLearning Centre on any laptop
or desktop computer using a web browser. In addition, you
can download the ILSTA eLearning Centre app and access your
courses on your smartphone or tablet. Our app is available
for free in both the Google Play store and Apple store.
Is joining the ILSTA eLearning Centre free?
Yes! ILSTA is a non-profit organisation. The costs of
operating the ILSTA eLearning Centre are paid from funds
provided by ILSTA's donors. There are no registration or
course fees for our students.
What kind of courses are offered on the ILSTA eLearning Centre?
The ILSTA eLearning Centre offers a variety of courses and
lectures useful to people who work in both the public and
private sectors. Our courses help professionals to acquire
new knowledge and skills and to continue their professional
development. Modules include criminal investigation
techniques, mutual legal assistance for prosecutors and
judges, cross-border security for customs officers, and
compliance for the banking and financial sector.
How long does a course take?
The majority of our courses are self-paced. That means
you can take as much time as you need in order to complete
the course. Some courses may have a deadline for completion,
such as short courses preparing you for an in-person training.
Where this is the case, you will be notified of the deadline
at the start of that course.
What qualifications will be awarded for completing a course (or courses)?
Successful completion of an ILSTA course will lead to
certification.
